As PHSA gradually introduces digital referrals across the province, providers and their staff will receive comprehensive and hands-on, instructor-led training to support the effective use of DRO products and tools. These sessions will be scheduled as clinics move forward with implementation.
In addition to instructor-led training, PHSA is continuously developing a variety of resources to ensure users in BC are supported in their use of digital referrals.
To enable digital referrals each clinic will need some set up in Ocean. This includes, user account(s), a site, site admins, and a directory listing. The Quick Guides below support clinic set up and basic eReferral functionality for use:
