PHSA collects rich clinical, financial, administrative and demographic data on province-wide specialized health services.
In support of our mandate to improve the health of British Columbians, these data are available for research purposes to PHSA-affiliated and external researchers. As custodian of these data, PHSA ensures that the use or disclosure of these data is done in a way that
protects patient personal information and fulfils our responsibilities to BC
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
