Your positive experience is our top priority. Virtual Health Technical Support Services is committed to making your Telehealth experiences as straightforward and seamless as possible.

Virtual Health Technical Support Services is situated within the Information Management / Information Technology Services (IMITS) department.  From helping you book a session, to providing you with on-demand troubleshooting, our team of coordinators, schedulers and technical analysts will support you every step of the way.  We will help you:

  • Coordinate room logistics (e.g. arrange for health care staff to be present to operate clinical peripherals, etc.)
  • Schedule events
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, if necessary

After submitting a request form, you can expect a response from our team. A scheduler will work with you to ensure the successful delivery of video conferencing services; a needs assessment and additional information may be necessary.

Interpreter and language services are available through

Provincial Language Service (PLS).

Technical Support can assist you with:

  • Answering questions about equipment and software requirements
  • Testing equipment and connections prior to a video conference
  • Troubleshooting technical issues the day-of or during a video conference
  • Extending the duration of a video conference, should it require more time (and participants’ room schedules permit it).
