PHSA's Nurse Practitioners receive dedicated training and mentorship in their chosen area of specialty, via our Nurse Practitioner Mentorship Program, with onboarding training needs assessment in a specialty setting.

To be eligible to work as a Nurse Practitioner with PHSA, candidates must:

• Possess current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
• Be eligible to complete the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) through the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
• Have a minimum of four years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
• Have the ability to perform the full scope of Nurse Practitioner duties and responsibilities.
